Find Your Tackle Trader Bargain
Carp fishing can be expensive, especially when spending a huge outlay on your rods, reels and big ticket items such as bedchairs and bivvies.
We may review brand new carp tackle throughout the site – but you may often be able to bag a bargain on tackle trader websites such as Ebay, Freeads and of course, the Facebook Marketplace.
So, this post lists all the popular tackle trader websites where you may pick up hot second-hand carp tackle!
We will keep adding to this post as time goes by – in the meantime, please feel free to check out what we’ve found so far!
Tight lines!
Tackle Trader.com
This superb ‘tackle trading’ website isn’t just limited to the UK!
Over 50 million pages have been ‘viewed’ sine its inception in the year 2000, so its a really trusted site amongst the carp community – making it one of the most visited second-hand carp tackle websites around.
Posting an ad is free, and as of June 2018 – there are currently just over 13,000 items of carp tackle listed!
Another feature we really like is that you post an ad for a possible ‘tackle swap’ with another angler!
A great idea if you’ve bought something that you didn’t really like – or just want to test the water to see what you could trade.
There is an additional facility to pay a fee to ‘boost your listing’ such as making it featured, highlighting it or adding a link.
Overall – a well-built and maintained carp tackle website!
Second-Hand Carp Tackle on Gumtree
Most of you may of heard of ‘Gumtree’, but for those of you who haven’t – it really is a great website for finding second-hand carp tackle!
You can carry out a search of your local area and really hunt down a bargain!
We thought we’d explore a little bit and we found some Cygnet Bank Sticks for just £8, and a Nash Indulgence Bedchair at only £50!
Some really great prices for tackle that hasn’t been used too much – everyday there is carp angler giving it up (maybe for personal reasons, who knows?) but you should definetly seize the chance by stayng active on the website.
Maybe installing the app on your mobile or tablet so you can hunt down those bargains ‘on the move’!
Gumtree is a fantastic tackle trader website worth keeping an eye on!
Other Popular Tackle Trader Resources
The Facebook Marketplace is probably one of the most used resources as far as buying second-hand carp tackle.
You can discover bargains in your area via the search which makes for a really easy way to find what you’re after.
You may even have a friend who’s selling a few bits and bats – or looking to swap unused tackle?
Either way – it’s a superb resource, and we suggest you go and have a browse straight away!
Note:If you carry out a quick search for ‘carp fishing groups’, you may find fellow anglers trading tackle there too!
